The ABC’s of Christianity…
Through God’s grace given to us through Jesus Christ we have the right to claim eternal life. The process is as easy as A, B, C.
Admit that you have sinned. That you have broken God’s rules. (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 53:6)
Believe that God paid for your sin. (Romans 5:8, Romans 6:23) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
Confess your sins and Commit your life to Jesus Christ. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe his His name.” (John 1:12) “Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelations 3:20) Jesus calls us to repent and live a pure and holy life with His help. Repentance is defined as a “desire to amend.” In other words God gives us an opportunity to start anew and be transformed into the man or woman God desires us to be. “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:2)
Live a new life
Life as a Christian does not mean you will have a life without trials. We still live in a fallen, sinful world. However, we now have hope in Jesus Christ. “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
