What should I expect in worship? Our worship services are designed to help everyone connect with God in a way that makes sense and is meaningful. We use a wide array of songs, instruments, and technology to help people of all ages experience the joy of corporate celebration and the benefit of personal reflection. The teaching is Bible-centered and designed to help us learn together what it means to know Christ and how to apply all of the Bible as the foundation for a successful life. We encourage you to bring your Bible or to use a Bible app on your phone or mobile device, but if you don't have one, the scriptures are provided on the screen for everyone to follow along. 

What should I wear? At FBC Meadville, we are more interested in you personally than in your clothing. Some of our people dress up and some dress casually. The pastor usually wears either a jacket or tie, but rarely both. We encourage you to dress however is comfortable for you, and either way you will fit in. 

What other activities and opportunities are there for me and my family? The following list includes most, but not all, our regular ministries and partners:

  • Sunday School (small-group Bible study/discipleship) , Sunday mornings at 9:30am at the church. Other times and locations may vary.)
  • Bible Studies (as announced), Men's and Women's ongoing, others TBA
  • P.R.A.Y (Praise, Repent, Ask, Yield) prayer time Wednesdays at 6:30pm, followed by visitation as needed
  • MIssion/service partnerships and opportunities (varies according to time and need): Project H.O.P.E mission trips to Nicaragua, Birthright of Chillicothe, WAVE Radio of Chillicothe, The Community Resource Center shelter in Chillicothe, The Houks (IMB missionaries to Southeast Asia), Linn-Livingston Baptist Association, The Gideons International/North MO camp
